The 80 Hours of Madness: A Showcase of Creative Power

One of Radio For The World’s biggest events in 2025 was "80 Hours of Madness", an 80-hour nonstop livestream marathon that took place from Friday, May 23 at 12PM (Noon) to Monday, May 26 at 8PM PST. The 80 Hours of Madness broadcast pushed boundaries and spotlighted independent creatives from all over the world in a way that traditional platforms simply can’t.

All in-person interviews and shows were hosted at Morris Media Studios in Los Angeles, a professional space specializing in podcast production and voice-over services. Additional interviews and segments were recorded through videocalls with guests from across the globe - including countries like the UK, the Netherlands, and Thailand.

Featured Guests from Around the World

A few examples of featured guests on the 80 Hours of Madness include artists like Pookie F’n Rude, Shaunta, Munchie B, comedian Jeff Arnold, filmmaker Marcus Head, entrepreneurs like RC Curry of ChopShop Printing & Design, and Teena Miller, a certified laughter yoga teacher - all joining us from across the U.S.

From the UK, we welcomed singer-songwriter Grae J Wall. In Thailand, indie filmmaker and comedian Mike Sandoval shared his story. And from the Netherlands, jazz pianist Avishai Darash, singer-songwriter and coach Madelon Timmers, and DJ Irie made powerful appearances.

We also featured a live in-studio performance by MRD Chosen, and wrapped up the marathon with a high-energy finale from The BMC’s. And that’s just a glimpse of our guests during the 80 Hours of Madness!

Our Story

Radio For The World was founded in 2004 by visionary Deon "The Director" Cooper. From the very beginning, RFTW broke new ground as the first radio station to broadcast live audio and video simultaneously from multiple locations around the globe. Pioneering this innovative approach, we streamed to a variety of platforms over the years - including Camfrog, Stickam, Ustream, YouTube, Facebook, and more - long before livestreaming became mainstream.

Beyond digital, Radio For The World has also partnered with traditional FM radio stations such as Ozcat Radio (Vallejo, California) and OOG Radio (Groningen, the Netherlands), blending the best of both worlds to reach audiences everywhere. This commitment to innovation and connection remains at the heart of everything we do, as we continue to amplify independent voices worldwide.
